Kapparis is a coastal area in Cyprus near Paralimni and Protaras. It is a very quite and isolated place where you can enjoy all year round facilities such as Restaurants, Bars, Amusement Parks, Shops and much more.
Kennedy Avenue is the main street in Kapparis, where you’ll find most of the area’s bars and restaurants. You can find food and drinks to suit all tastes and budgets, and many bars offer live music, bingo, karaoke and TV sports throughout the week.
Open year-round, Kapparis is very popular for those looking to a relaxing holiday near the beach and amenities.
The area has several beaches to choose from. The first is the Blue Flag Trinity Beach, also known as Agia Triada Beach. It has a snack kiosk and is adjacent to the small fisherman’s house and the church of Agia Triada.
From there, you can take a walk along the coastal path.
The next beach you will come across is Skoutarospili or Skoutari Beach, also known as Malama Beach. Facilities include water sports and a beach bar known for its superb views, cocktails and relaxing music.
A quieter, lesser-known beach is Pezounospili, used mostly by locals and a hidden gem in Kapparis. No amenities or convenient transportation, but worth a visit for its natural beauty.
Asprokremmos (MADD) Beach, better known locally as Firemans Beach is another Blue Flag beach popular with locals and tourists, so it can get very crowded in summer. It has good facilities including toilets, sunbeds and umbrellas, and a popular restaurant/snack bar overlooking the sea.
Next is Armyropigado or Scouts Beach, named for the Scout Camp that overlooks it, this is the last beach with snack bar and toilet facilities before the UN buffer zone.
